Kehinde is a senior legal counsel at Banwo and Ighodalo. He is a versatile commercial lawyer, with an uncommon analytical mind and ability to understand and attend to complex instructions. He advises on Oil & Gas, Foreign Investments & Divestments and general Corporate & Commercial law transactions. Some of his recent transactions include advising 2 clients on their multi-million dollar acquisitions of 45% participating interests in oil mining leases ("OML") 30 and 34 (onshore Nigeria), respectively, divested by Shell, Total and Agip; advised a leading Nigerian oil & gas conglomerate on its proposed acquisition of 40% participating interests in OMLs 52, 53 and 55 from Chevron; advised on Nigerian aspects of a multi-jurisdictional $1,050,000,000 acquisition of a fleet of 38 shallow-water and offshore oil drilling rigs from a multinational drilling company; advised several clients on their acquisition and/or financing of power generation and distribution assets recently privatized by the Nigerian government.He holds a Master's degree in law from the University of New Castle, England, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
