As part of the efforts to strengthen the NLI network and to maintain camaraderie among its members, NLI organised an Alumni Dinner which took place on Friday, July 31, 2015, at The Grosvenor Hotel, 101 Buckingham Palace Road, London, United Kingdom. 28 NLI Associate Fellows, Fellows and Senior Fellows from different parts of the UK and Europe attended the event which began with a cocktail and networking session at 6:30pm. Soon after, the guests proceeded to the Viceroy Suite for dinner. Each guest had a few minutes to introduce themselves as a way of promoting friendships and mutual support within the network. Mr Yinka Oyinlola, NLI CEO, gave a few remarks and updates from the NLI Secretariat. His remarks were immediately followed by the Guest Speaker, NLI Founder and immediate past Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment, Mr. Olusegun Aganga, who addressed the guests. The dinner was also interactive as the guests had an opportunity to direct their questions to the NLI Founder and Guest Speaker during the "Ask the Founder" Session.

There was a lot of excitement in the room as NLI members had the opportunity to reconnect, renew old friendships and make new ones. However, amid the merriment, NLI Alumni were reminded of their responsibilities as critical stake holders in Nigeria's development as well as the role they play in the success of NLI. The guest left the room refreshed, excited and motivated to strengthen the NLI network in Europe.
