SFNLI Kamar Adeleke collaborated with the Lagos State Government, through Public Private Partnership programme, to establish the first ultra-modern cardiac and renal centre in sub Saharan Africa. Located at the Gbagada General Hospital. Lagos, the facility is opened for public use and offers out-patient services, diagnostic services, ultrasound, CT scan, Echo cardiography, Stress Electrocardiography, laboratory services, etc. Professor Adeleke is the Chair of Cardiovascular Diseases at Ben Carson School Of Medicine, Babcock University; at the University College Hospital (UCH), Nigeria, where he performed the first cardiac catherization, Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) and coronary stenting. He was supported in the endeavour to establish the Cardiac Centre of Gbagada General Hospital by SFNLI Olu Obaro, a Professor and Head of Radiology at King George Hospital in the UK, and SFNLI Clare Omatseye, the President and CEO of JNC International. Together, they move from thought to action by giving back to the society.
